I have been avoiding this review for MONTHS because I know nothing I write will ever do Heartfelt Cycle Studio enough justice. This studio is IT! Heartfelt is the first and only queer owned spin studio in Columbus. They are founded on inclusivity and the incredibly simple attitude that fitness should be FUN and not a punishment. They are truly changing the game in the name of diversity and body positivity. Owner @lolokbye has created something truly unique and magical. Once a month they host a drag ride. You. Have. Not. LIVED. Until you have experienced one of these classes. Drag Queen and formally trained cycling instructor @anaslaysia_queen guides you through an amazing workout, all while giving you an insane performance. It is impossible to leave a drag ride without 1. Being extremely sweaty and 2. Grinning from ear to ear.

👟THE VIBE 

The vibes in this place are freakin phenomenal. I can guarantee you won’t find anything else like it. Everything they do seems to be the antithesis of your typical spin studio…. in the best way possible. There are no mirrors here, no scoreboards, no screens, no talk of ‘calories burned’ or ‘summer bodies’, no competition, and no intimidation. What you will find here is a ton of fun, an amazing inclusive community, and a celebration of all bodies! I know a lot of other studios promote similar ideals, yet they all feel very gimmicky. Heartfelt is truly authentic in this and it’s evident every step of the way. It all just feels so natural here. You have to try it out for yourself to truly feel the amazing things happening there.
