The post-wedding bachelorette you didn’t know you needed, and the ultimate girlie goodie bags to go with it.
A few months ago my best friends threw me a “Wifelorette”—yes you heard that right—a bachelorette party after my wedding. And if I’m being honest, I recommend it more than an actual bachelorette party. It’s just as fun as the quintessential single girls weekend, but you get to enjoy it even more knowing you’re free of wedding planning anxiety. Plus, it gives you something fun to look forward to after the post-wedding comedown.
While I can’t thank the girlies enough for throwing me such an amazing weekend, I did end up putting together a thank you goodie bag that was too good not to share.
Here’s a list of everything in my Wifelorette goodie bags:
Cutest Gift Bags
The perfect goodie bag starts from the outside in. This one had “I love being a woman” written all over it and that’s exactly the feminine aesthetic I was going for.
Bala Bangles
Wellness item, check. If you know me at all, you know I am wildly obsessed with my Bala Bangles. I wear them on all of my hot girl walks and frequently use them to level up pilates classes, so I felt morally obligated to gift a pair to all of my girls in a color I knew they would love. Girlies, if you’re reading this, I hope you use yours as much as I do mine.
Heart Shaped Sunglasses
Forget what you heard—these sunglasses are not basic, they’re adorable. There’s a reason why they’ve become a staple bachelorette weekend accessory… and who am I to question that?
Disco Drinking cups
If you’re following suit and incorporating a disco-themed night into your weekend itinerary then these are a must. Use them for the pregame photo opps, and if you’re lucky enough to be in a city where having an open container is allowed, take them out with you!
Make up wipes
This one is self-explanatory.
Eye masks
Don’t sleep on eye masks. You’ll need more than a liquid IV and a smile to rally through the inevitable hangovers. (We sure did.)
Cute cards
Weekends like these are a time to let your girlies know how much they mean to you. For mine I gave everyone a unique card with a handwritten note inside with one goal in mind—make them tear up a little.
Books
I’m a book club girlie at heart so my final addition to the goodie bags were wedding-inspired romance novels. Every girl got a different one, here’s are some of my favorites in case you want to steal this for your wife/bachelorette:
And that’s all she wrote! How did I do? Did I miss anything? Comment something you wish you were gifted on a bachelorette weekend!
So adorable!! Can’t think of a thing!!
