I have been dying to try this gym for a while. I have heard lots about it and was eager to check it out for myself. Spoiler Alert: it lived up to the hype. SOS has seven signature classes. The goal behind the concept is that each class works in conjunction with the others to give you absolutely EVERYTHING you need from a workout routine – cardio, strength, and recovery! SOS has more equipment than you could ever imagine. Several of their classes utilize a shit ton of that equipment. No matter what move you are doing, you will have the appropriate weight/band/etc to make it truly challenging. There is absolutely no phoning it in here! These are some of the hardest classes I have ever taken. I am obsessed with the fact that I can go here for so many different types of workouts. The variety here is unparalleled. If you’re someone who loves the structure of a workout routine but lack the time to create the plan yourself, this place is perfect for you. Or if you’re just in need of a total push it to your limits type of workout, this is your place!
$40 for a two week pass to try ALL of the SOS class formats
You walk into this studio and you are instantly ready to WORK. It is hard to put into words just how motivating this place is. The studio is equal parts sleek and gritty (in the best way). My fav is when the garage door is open in the back studio. The absolute ass kicking you’re getting inside paired with the fresh air is *chef’s kiss*. SOS def has a cult like following. It’s clear why, but that being said, it’s easy to feel a little intimidated as a newbie here.
have you tried SOS yet? Which class is your fav?
